So last week, I had court for a speeding ticket, BOOOO! But, it was in the mountains, YAYYYY! I left the house at 4:00 am and arrived in Morganton, NC at 7:30. I had breakfast at a kick ass buffet and then went to court and got the charge and the fine reduced, whew. Then it was time for some twisties and some parkway scenery!

On the way home, coming out of the mountains, I stopped at this old Nascar track. I still enjoy Nascar, but it is nothing like it used to be.





The trip was 458 miles total and I was on the road for exactly 14 hours. It was an awesome day trip and I hope to do it again soon, without the whole court thing.

We could only do about 60 miles from Cherokee, NC. when we were there, thanks for the ride along. We will have to come back and do the entire parkway.
