| ok changed the drain crush washer, still leaking. I looked at the manual and parts list. Any big deal to remove final drive and change two seals. What to look for? Special tools need? And its not coming from any where forward, just sitting there. |

I replaced the input shaft seal recently and will be doing the crowngear seal this weekend.
The input shaft seal requires a special tool for the threaded ring which holds the shaft seal. I fabricated one myself rather than buy one for seventy bucks and if anybody needs it, it is available for the cost of postage.
In my mind if the gear oil is being found on the outside it seems more likely the crowngear seal leaking rather than the shaft seal which would then have to leak out of the rubber boot between the final drive and rear fork.
I will post a few pictures this weekend when I have more time available.
Cheers,
