The irony is there would be nothing wrong if I didn't have the monitoring relay in circuit. I don't understand BMW. Something like an oil pressure gauge would be much more useful.
I ordered a replacement relay off eBay. Hopefully, it will solve the problem. If not, I'll bypass the relay. _________________ 2000 R1100RT

I sold the bike. Problem solved.
I explained the issue to the buyer and gave him the replacement bulb monitoring relay I bought off eBay. The buyer was so elated to find such a clean example of a K11 that he said the bulb monitor didn't matter. He said that if the replacement relay doesn't solve the problem, he'll simply bypass the relay. _________________ 2000 R1100RT
