Got to ask this one and would like some input from our chums from the USA.
What is goin on in Libiya and should we be in there ?
If AlQueda is part of the freedom fighters should we let them get on with it keep our aircraft home?
Is all about oil?
Here in the UK we pay £1.30 a litre for petrol - would that equate to roughly $2 a litre (not agallon).
Or on rough estimate $9 a gallon here in the uk.
Dont take my math as gospel but it wont be far off the price.

Libya has been a thorn in the US' side for a long time. The ordering of a US bound airplane over Scotland was one incident. Now the wacko in command is killing his own people and generally being bad. Time for the UN and NATO to get involved. We get very little oil from Libya, so honestly I do not think it is motivated by that. After all we literally saved Kuwait from being part of Iraq and they don't give us a discount.
