So I am now in Albuquerque. The weather is already great. The rest of the family is still back east at least for another month. Working on getting the GS running. Since it has been sitting since 1997 I have a lot of maintenance to do. One of the first things is new brake lines. The PO put bark backs on it and when it turns all the way to the left it stretches the brake hose. I can't believe he rode it like that. I will get some picture up soon.

Rich,

Great to hear from you! Livin' it up in the land of sunshine, eh?

Good luck with the GS. Do you have your LT there? If so go find some fun roads.

Up here in NH we are almost thawed out- we can start to see some lawns peeking out from under the snow. Now if MUD season would end, I could ride. Maybe another week or so.

Stay in touch. Remember that GS doesn't take any coolant Laughing

John

Hey John,

The LT is still back in Maryland and will come with me when I move the rest of the family out. I brought just enough tools out with me to get the GS running so I have something to ride till the family move. It's already in the 70's here and I can't wait to get out.

Yup, in the 70's and real cool. You should see me going down the road with my bell bottoms and beads with the peace sign flapping behind me.

Arrrgh!! We had 14 F degrees here this morning. But it is 42 here already. Hope to trailer the bike out past the mudpit we call a road and get to asphalt by Friday.

Great to hear you got sun and warm. Happy wrenching.
