Most of the parts are in and are starting to put things back together.

Ordered a used airbox from the boneyard that won't come in until tomorrow. My box is currently sound: degreased the hoses from airbox to TBs and they're all solid. It's the stupid hoses for the oil vapor recirculation system that are bugging me.

Two of the three have breaks in them: the long one running up to the top of the airbox and then around inside the airbox to the plastic circular trap; and then the shorter 8" one. The one at the bottom of the airbox seems to be okay.

If the piece I get from the boneyard doesn't have these hoses, is there any reason I can just get stock rubber hose of the right ID/OD and fabricate a set? There's a couple of 90 degree turns, one at the wall of the airbox and another near the point where it connects to the block (this is the long one running through the airbox); the other one seems less problematic.

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

You should be ok as long as you can make a good seal where the hose goes into the top lid of the airbox. Since that is the "filtered" side anything that can get in goes to the engine without any filtering.
