Good evening,
I have a question about my exhaust, specifically, the way it attaches to the bike. I usually go out this time of year to the barn and look over the bike since winter storage, rid it of any stowe aways IE mice. I have noticed that the nut/bolt/stud, is missing out of #1 cylider header pipe collar. One is still there and is still tight. Question is, is it a stud? If so how does it go into the bike? via threads? (can't tell) And how hard is it to replace? I hope it is not snapped off. I guess I need to remove the header off the bike to do this? Get a part from ??? Dealer? Beemerbonyard? Have dealt with them before, a great place to get parts. Any useful comments would be greatly appreciated. |

Threaded stud.
If it's just missing, not broken off, then you shouldn't need to remove the header.
To install a replacement just put two nuts on the end of it to lock against each other and put a 12mm wrench on the outer one. Once it's installed then remove them. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Hi Ted,
Thanks for the heads up, I will check to see if it broke or just loosend up and fell out. Hopefully the latter.
