I just installed a set of Hyperpro springs. They are a rising rate progressive spring. The springs just drop in using your original bushings. The kit comes with the oil as well. They are a tad on the expensive side $150.00 shipped, comes with the fork oil though. The only odd thing abot the install was the amout of oil required seemed to be to much so I filled the forks per the OEM amounts. I took it for a short spin she seems well planted to the ground so far so good. I purchased them thru EPM Motorsports yhey're out of NJ. I'll keep you in tune as to how I like them once I push it a little.
Happy motoring... |

Anton replaced the fork springs - basically rebuilt the forks on the K. Although there is no extensive write-up, there is a pic (which you might find helpful) and some info: http://www.largiader.com/tech/k11forks/
The progressive rate stock springs were replaced with linear springs from Lindemann (I think he got them from someone else, but I'm not sure). _________________ Jim

I went to the springs tech page,
http://www.k11og.org/tech/k11tech_springs_install.shtml
WOW that helps, only I had to get a 4mm machine screw for the inside rod not the 5mm. Found a parts house that will LOAN the 30mm socket, $20 deposit returned after all the work. And got the Rancho 1952's for about $3.60 each (near as I can remember). _________________ RIP (Roy Parker)
