I totaled my 93 K 11. Got the insurance settlement and found a K 100 with damage on ebay for $1700. Grabed it. I don't like the feel of the bike, Especially the handle bars. I'm waiting for my bike to be sold at the wrecking yard and I will contact the new owner and buy the handlebars. Do I need to purchase anything else?

You might try to buy the wreck, a friend just got her pristine K75C for $300 from the insurance company before it even went to auction. All it needed was a new valve cover.
