Occasionally, when I first start and move off, the ABS fails to initialise - key off, key on and restart mostly resolves it. But just occasionally I need to do a few kilometers and then stop-start to get it to initialise.
Is the battery the likely culprit? _________________ David, owner of:

I was seeing similar probs on startup on my 97 K1100LT, new battery seems to have fixed the problem for me. _________________ 1997 K1100LT
