The headlight glass has some fume fogging on the inside, and I want to remove the glass and give it a thorough cleaning. This look s like it's a fairly easy thing to do, and since I'll also be installing an HID kit I'll be going in there anyway. Anything I need to be aware of before I do this?

For the record, I'll be installing an auxiliary fuse block for this and some other things, so wiring should not be an issue.

Also, the previous owner(s) seems to have already put the headlight on a relay circuit. Would attaching an additional relay cause any problems?

I wonder, has anyone put any sort of auxiliary light at the top of the housing? It looks like there is a place for an additional bulb at the top of the assy. that was specifically made for this sort of thing.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Lord Snarebottom, removing the lens is easy, but time consuming. I think the book says to remove the fairing but that's not neccessary if you're patient. Very Happy

It's for the parking light.
