That's on top of the other 60" we've had this season.

I understand what y'all have out east like 30" in one shot. We had that in Dec, except it's still here. Shocked

Has anyone added this stuff to the sides of the bike? Seems like that would also be a good idea.

Don't have any night pics but the K11/12 had triangles of the black reflective stuff on the system cases. You can make it out in this pic:

I agree white for the "cop" effect. It's what I always think when I see one. I haven't seen any of the hi-viz helmets on the street to know how noticeable they are, but I am curious.

All my helmets are white, and they're usually the cheaper color 'cause only us safety geeks buy them!

I reckon yellow is possibly the one but to honest I prefer to wear a black or charcoal coloured lid.
Grey(Silver)or white wouldn't be much use in Scotland as most things in Scotland are grey or white.
(Esp this time of the year with, snow, granite, roads etc...)

Hi, Steve,
I recognize that picture and the background, especially the red K75RT on the right. Off to find a U-Haul to return a dead K1100RS to its home. We had a good time solving the world's problems while you found the truck! I'm looking forward to seeing you again this year.

Jo, where you been? I know you must be kidding about the new ride, there's no room on that scoot for any real food!

Glad to hear you're still around.

Dutch police have just switched over to the hi-vis yellow helmets and jackets. Many riders are also makeing the switch, along with reflective vests, big believer in the reflective vests as a cage driver, easier to see them coming.

Wear a vest 99% of the time.

I admit to preferring black, as it "goes with anything", but I do take the liberty of adding reflective stickers on it, so it's anything but invisible, especially with light shining at it.

I put one of these stickers from Aerostich on the back of all of my helmets:
