My web host is discontinuing service in October. I liked it because it was free and easy to edit. Any recommendations? _________________ Jim

I use both GoDaddy and Hostforweb - I like them both and both are about the same price. GoDaddy has more tools available, I'd probably look there first. Plus, if you google "godaddy coupon" you can find some great deals. _________________ Ted

Hostgator hands down. http://www.hostgator.com/
I have been with a number of others. Hostgator was recommended to me by a couple of professional web site designers. I'm very happy with them.
I understand that Hostgator also has an online html editor that works pretty well, although, I've never used it. Most of my websites are now Wordpress based. _________________ "Still can't find 6th gear" 94 K1100LT |

Hey, I've had a free site since 2001 and been totally satisfied. _________________ Jim

Nope. 100% up time since December and I forget the bandwidth but it's MORE than ample and response time is fine. Only wall I've hit so far is a 500MB file size limit - but that just forced me to make my HTML more efficient which it should've been in the first place. (Front PAge doesn't make the world's most efficient HTML pages. Go figure, an inefficient Microsoft product. :rol:)
And they don't make you do banner ads, pop-ups or any of that BS. If I weren't so cheap I'd happily pay for service of this quality. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Well, I secured a new domain name and under Duck's suggestion registered at Freetopia. I'm just stuck on the transition to getting pages up as the old service though flawed did everything pretty seamlessly.
Anyone out there willing to spend a little time helping me with this? Could barter maple syrup. Post here or contact me by pm, email or phone.

Grade A comes in light, medium, and dark amber. Grade B is a shade darker than dark amber and has a stronger flavor. I prefer medium and dark amber.
Drake I'm so lost at this point I don't know how to rename anything. I'm going to take another stab at it but if someone were willing to help me over the hump I could send them passwords and we could look at it together while talking on the phone. _________________ Jim

Well it wasn't quite solved but after several phone calls to Duckland and much keyboarding I think I have it under control now. Don't look at the site until I have more time to work on it. Great thanks to Drake, syrup to follow. _________________ Jim
