Testing, testing...

Hello everyone, this is my 1st post so I thought I'd do a test / greet one here first cos there doesn't seem to be a members introduction area.

I ride a 1993 BMW K1100RS that I acquired from a friend a few months ago, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the bike, it's brilliant! Some minor issues but by an large an excellent machine.

Looking forward to interacting with all the members here.

Cheers!
Chris

Welcome from Iowa.
Intro's are accepted anywhere. Don't know if you have done any lurking but pictures are also an unwritten requirement. Laughing
There's a mugshot thread in the Campfire section that lets us put a face to a name.

Hi, Chris,
Welcome to the asylum! Usually intros are in the Campfire section, but we don't mind a test or two.

What are you doing in Malaysia? The last time I was there (2/96), it was Ramadan. I drove to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore to check out a factory. I remember being awakened at 0dark30 by the mezzuin calling the faithful to prayer. The loudspeaker was right outside my window!

Thanks for the welcome Scott and Phil!

Scott, I will check out the Campfire section in a moment. I did a bit of lurking and found some really great pictures, however, the actual posting of photos seems to be quite difficult, and since my computer skills can, and often are, overshadowed by a 6-year old, I will probably have problems with this! However, I wil give it a shot! Smile

What a coincidence Phil, it is the month of Ramadhan over here again, and yes, for those not accustomed to the early morning prayers, it can be quite an awakening, literally. I am a writer by profession, mainly motoring stuff Smile

Cheers!
Chris
