we roll into sparks nv on thursday september 3rd for a job in stead nv on tuesday september 8th... last year we stashed our rig at our job in stead nv and did a 5 day loop around northern california... this year we are not able to stash our rig at our job so we are staying at a hotel off of the 80 in sparks nv...
we would like to ride 4@ 1 day loops from sparks nv... we have not ridden any roads between ca 88 and ca 36... so we are in search of 4@ sun up to sun down 2 up day loops between ca 88 and ca 36 beginning and ending in sparks nv... scenic is paramount... licorice to paved goat 5 with some gravel is acceptable...
here is map #1 for your critique... wentworth springs... icehouse... fire lookout...
here is map #2 for your critique... downeyville... nevada city... mosquito ridge... iowa hill...
here is map #3 for your critique... luther pass... pack saddle... silver fork... morman emigrant... capps... grizzley...
here is map #4 for your critique... ebbitts... sonora... the opposite way as we have ridden before...

You are a total stud of moto preportions. You have some good ones here!
I have family stuff over the three day weekend, so I really only have one day to play. But I am good to play all day either Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
Option 1 Wow, I can't believe that you found all that. I did that in June. Icehouse is all dirt, so you don't want to go in that way. You want to come in through Geortown and Stumpy Meadows Reservior. From there up to Hell Hole is all tight and one lane. We spent all morning doing just that leg.
Option 2 looks good. I did part of the Northern section, also in June. This is great option is anyone joins us from Sac. Hwy 49 from Nevada City to Downieville will be choked with tourists, but it's worth it if you Gold Lakes loop north to Cio.
Options 3 Is great. I would suggest a few adjustments. The west side of Lake is scenic, but it will but choked with tourists. If you've never seen it, it's worth it. But if you have seen it, best to cut that out. Also, if you can cut out some of hwy 50 and cut over to Fiddletown and 88, you'd be happier.
Option 4 is perfect.
I live in Gardnerville. Which is on 395, 50 miles south of Reno. I regularly romp around Option 3 and 4.
So the questions are; Is anyone else going to be joining us? Which days and on which routes do you want a local? _________________ '04 WR450f

Did we really ride down a dirt road? Why is it that all good adventures include dirt?
I can hardly wait to see the rest of pictures!!
What a great day! Thanks for the fun, thanks for the pictures and thanks for lunch! I own you one.
The next lunch is on me. _________________ '04 WR450f
