Jim- good find, but $5500 for the K75, a 14 y.o. bike. Kind of pricey?? _________________ John & Cathy

What the market will bear?
I have it in my head that if I ever found the perfect deal on a K75 I would downgrade to the lighter bike. I will probably go look at this one just to see if that's really what I want to do. _________________ Jim

Well, I got it out of my system. Went to look at the 75 this morning. It was essentially the same bike as mine, only with three cylinders. But the owner said his fuel economy wasn't that much better than mine, and the bike only weighs about eighty pounds less. So I'm sticking with the K1100! It's the devil I know.
That being said, this is a beautiful bike in perfect condition and apparently well maintained. I talked price with the owner a little after establishing that I was not a potential customer. If anyone is interested in that bike, PM me your phone # and we can talk about it. _________________ Jim

Jim - if I could swing it, I'd jump on a K75(RT). They are sweet bikes - and a lot easier to manoeuvre than the 1100's. They're also very smooth. I still wish I could have kept my 92RT and bought the K11. _________________ Jim

The asking price for the K75 is down to $4500. It is a beauty. I started it up but didn't ride it.

That looks like a very nice K75RT - but it's got the Y-spoked wheels that are a PITA to keep clean. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
