And while I am at it, I think I read someone out there is someone who
repairs these switch assemblies. I think it was "Mr. Flying Duck" alias Mr Drake. Is that true Mr. Drake?
The Kill switch lever broke and it is not very quick to "kill" the bike. I don't even know if it is fixable. Looks like it is but haven't tried pulling it apart yet. What say you Mr. Drake? _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

Hi, Moondog,
I'm not Drake and I don't know if the switch can be repaired, but I suppose it can if you take the old one apart and have another lever or suitable replacement. I do know the advice given to those who take the switches apart is to take them apart inside a shoebox or a plastic bag, to prevent the tiny springs and other bits from making a break for freedom, never to be found again. Good Luck! _________________ Ride Safe,

Yep, but before I get to that stage I want part in hand. Or if it is inexpensive send, it to who ever fixes it and have them chase springs _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

Kill switch is easy. Once you remove the switch assembly from the perch you can remove the E-clip holding it from behind.
Ill look around to see if I have a spare kill lever.
FYI: The only standalone pieces of the switches that can be purchased from BMW are the turn signal paddles. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
