After four years of owning the LT I finally decided to do something about the bottom front part of the backrest flopping around. When I had it off to install some new speakers I put a 2 inch wide strip of Dual-Lock across the entire bottom. Problem solved.

I couldn't get anything to stick to the rubber part - the backrest. Did you clean it with acetone or anything?

I wiped both surfaces down with rubbing alcohol and let them dry before applying the Dual-Lock.
