I got cooked by my LT last time I went through Bakersfield, CA. Since then I made a double layered maxipad Johnny Blanket. Not hot enough here to really test it yet.
Was rummaging around today and found some Baker Built Air Wings I scored for $20 on FleaBay a few years ago. I'm considering installing them.
Do they work in the heat? Are they worth installing?

Duck,
I have them on my bike and they are "okay". Don't believe they would do much for you in the "Bakersfield" heat in the Summertime, tho.
I'll know more when I hit the Oklahoma Panhandle this Summer.
