Here are pictures of my front and rear tires after 10624 miles of use. Front tire still has about +2000 miles of wear left. Rear tire has some funky wear.
Notice on the left side of the tire that the rain channels have worn completely away in the middle third of the tire. Tire profile has modified from its nice fat oval shape to a more triangular shape. The center third has worn almost flat and that there are 2 distinctive shoulders right where the the road grey goes to tire grey. The shoulders made for some interesting cornering as you could feel the tire fall off onto the outer edge from the shoulder. If the rear tire had an even wear pattern I think it would go another +2K miles.
All in all I have really enjoyed the PR2s and have a new set ordered. They stick really well and give great confidence in the corners. I am not a gentle rider.

Which would probably explain the rear wear pattern. That's some great mileage for hard riding.

Hey!
Just curious & not trying to hi jack the thread, but I feel my 93 RS is slightly biased to the right for weight. I have the PR2's front & back.
Works for me cause I most always only stop with the right foot down, left ready at the shifter. Not always, but most always that's how I stop and the bike seems to just naturally lean that way, to the right that is. Maybe years of unconsious training? Anyway, anybody else notice a slight weight bias to the right & could that account for that odd rear tire wear?
I mean there all kinds of other variables involved I'm sure, just curious about what I MAY be feeling about the right side bias.
All is nuetral at speed and bike goes where ever I point it.

He's got a RS, unless I'm mistaken, they don't make a LT rear tire.

Correct, I went with the Avon for a rear radial on my LT.

I put an RS rear wheel on my LT. I didn't like the skinny look of the stock rear.

I'm totally happy about PR2's on my RS. They have done around 8000km, mostly two up and with a dash of speed and show almost no wear.
The one odd ball point about them is the very best deal I could find on them was the local BMW dealer.
It took me by surprise.

Jeez I can't get 6000 kilometres out of a set of PR2s let alone 10000+ miles.
However it sure looks like on the photo's the tyre wear indicators on both front and back are being worn. Riding in the wet must be interesting and in the land down under illegal. We have to have 2mm clearance above the TWI.

Dang hot down there too I hear. What's your cold tire pressure at in lb's please?
I'm running 39 rear 38 front.

I run 38 front and 42 rear more if two up and loaded. Any less I get cupping issues on that back tyre. Jeez to get anywhere near 10000 miles out of a set of tyres I'd have to carry the bike a long friggin way.

IMHO you must not exceed the max tire pressure cold PSI. 
AOK to inflate to the max when cold. Also make certain the suspension is set correctly and all is working well.
I've seen worn suspension components cause cupping and odd wear.
Even not having the fork oil level correct can affect this.
I'm no slouch most riding, but U may be racer quality stuff and are just going to burn em up faster.
