Map upgrades for the lifetime of the unit to the original registered user.
Only for the Nuvi, Zumo, and selected Streetpilot series.
Verify that yours qualifies.
Mine doesn't.

Only for they with a new gps, or maybe not registered their old yet ?

that's just for the free one time thing.
It looks like any compatible gps qualifies for the purchased lifetime deal. Two years of maps and it's paid for itself based on current pricing...
