Just bought my K100 LT in 2008. Looking for an intercom for 2 up communication, plugging in an i-pod, and ease of controling volume. My radio/cassette no longer works. I've seen items on fleebay from $40 to $400. I'd lik eto find someting mid-range with stereo helmet speakers. Any suggestions?
Thanks,Brent

I have a BTS-300 which works great. I have a little older unit (june08) that I had to get the software upgrade(free) so it works with my garmin 2820.

Starcom
http://www.starcom1.com/
3 versions available for all situations, and the best I have used to date.

Another vote for the Starcom, I have the advance (not the new Digital) and it has been VERY good. If you want a radio then the PTT button could be better.

I've had an Interide and it was so crap I sold it soon after for £1 not even worth the price of a Beer! Evil or Very Mad

Autocom, IMHO is old technology, resting on very old laurels Rolling Eyes

I have mine setup with a phone 'bluetoothed' to a Garmin Zumo 550 and then the Zumo connects to the Starcom. Also worth buying the extended headset lead if you want to mount it all in the tail.

I also had a Starcom 1 before I sold it and purchased the BTS-300. They are excellent units and the souond is great. I switched more to get rid of the wire and go bluetooth.

i think the camos bts 300 are about the best you can get... long range intercom... good sound to 80mph... all day battery life...

i got the bhs 600s... they worked flawlessly for a year... then the 1st heavy rain caused feedback and distortion... which really became a problem on the hungry dungee 1...

i called the usa importer... no questions asked they sent a set of bts 200s free of charge... i got them and tried them out... they were good... i returned the bhs 600 about 2 weeks later... no hassles...

the bts 200 freaked out during the thanksgiving week deluge... feedback and distortion... they sent me the bts 300 the next day...

so im on my 5th and 6th camos units... all worked fine until they got wet... all were replaced and upgraded with out hassle... i hope the bts 300s wont be bothered by the wet...
