getting ready to change the fork oil on a 1993 K1100RS, I realize the forks hold different amounts, which fork is the right and which is the left. It would be helpful if someone said the right fork is the clutch lever side or throttle side.
thanks
James

The right fork is the one on the right side of the bike - throttle side.

Be very careful with the fork drain screws. If you overtighten them when puting them back in it is EASY to strpi the threads - just get them snug.

A handy trick for draining fork oil is to cover the lower part of your wheel and brake rotors with aluminum foil so they don't get fork oil on them.

It's a good idea the make sure you can get the filler plugs out before removing the drain plugs.

James - make sure you don't over tighten the fill caps - that seems to be a common problem. They also strip out easily.
