My 1985 K100 fuel cap is playing up - seems to be identical to the K1100 so this looks like a good place to ask!
The problem seems to be a small plastic cylinder that has 2 semi circular grooves at the bottom - these are a bit worn.
Does anywhere sell the cap parts individually or is it a replace whole job?

Thanks

Steve

Is "playing up" the same as "acting up"?

If you're talking about the black plastic piece that is turned by the prongs on the lock core it can't be purchased as a standalone part. You need to purfchase a complete assembly.
