Friends,
I am putting up the girl for sale after 12 great years. I signed her over to the dealership today, I am already feeling quilty. I picked up my 2008 R1200GS last week and I now have 850 miles on the bike. I have already had to replace the EWS ring, the fuel sensor strip and the front strut. The bike handles great when it's running though If I didn't work for a dealer and have the bike worked on all the time, I would be pissed. Fortuately, nothing that has failed so far has left me on the side of the road.
At any rate, the K1100RS will be on our sales floor in Cleveland on Tuesday with a price tag of $4200. I added a ton of stuff: all three hard cases and tank bag, Ohlins rear, Racetech .95k in the front, throttle meister, a second power outlet plug, /6 fork boots, new HHH pads all the way around. Every gauge and piece works correctly, the bike runs great, I replaced the rear rotor and caliper after the fire The bike has 69,000 miles on it looks and runs great. The dealership will have more on their website in a few days. Just thought I would mention it here, since I would really like her to go to a good home. _________________ Dom |

I'll ride it to Indy if you fly me to Cleveland and then to Minneapolis... _________________ tlp

OK, I'm a little slow but now I get it.
Yes, I have test-ridden a GS, and if you can peel that out of Dom's grip I'd ride it to Nevada (or where ever you may be) for you.
Unless you wanted me to drop it off at Judson for a couple months... _________________ tlp
