didnt want to hijack the airborne man fowls recollection of how it went down... this should get you thinking seriously about a motobrick get together at the airborne man fowls piece of heaven...

here you go...

we had a 2 1/2 day weekend in the seattle area... our job monday was in burlington so we headed there friday morning and got the bug eye brick ready to meet up with its kin once again...

but first this... humm... it was gonna be either mr weed or mr crab... humm....

here comes our ride... the whidbey island to port townsend ferry...

looking back to whidbey... the spooky was low and blowing into fort casey...

i forgot the map and directions... going on intuition... we saw a bmw paper plate nailed to a tree...

our host... the motobrick rider known as the airborne man fowl... started telling lies straightaway...

not only does the dood have helmet head... he also has boat head...

going for mr crab...

fill er up johhnny... ok... dont drop the gas cap... o my... slow motion... from my fingers to the edge of the boat to the water... looking like its gonna float... but sinks out of sight... my f ing nemesis... the gas cap... that thing will haunt me to my grave...

mr crab...

mr crabs friend...

the sunset over mystery bay...

time for dinner... micki... being from iowa... prefers the cloven hoofed beast... a 2 lb t bone... we had terraki salmon... but i forgot to get any photos of the tasty silver sockeye...

the steak was like butter... i knew she would be sharing... it was a big f ing steak...

the morning after... and i mean it... wheeeeew... the chimacum cafe...

there was an 85 motobrick there... spoke to the owner... he bought it new in 85... has 157,000 miles on it...

more later...

the motobrick and the airborne man fowl on wa 116 by fort flagler state park... this photo would be better if i were still allowed to post full size photos... but as long as you all know that im the victim... right...

deception pass on wa 20...

then we headed into burlington and went our own ways...

it was a weekend of riding... mother earth... listening to lies...

Johnny forgot to mention that this is where I proved to him that his bike does indeed have a fork lock - despite his repeated claims to the contrary. It was pretty sticky though - probably last used when they tested it in Germany at the end of the production line.

Now, Duke, explain me why BMW have the fork lock inverse, to the right??
Normaly the lock is on when the forks are turned to the left.
??

Great pictures Johnny Oh. You do get around. (Round Round I get around.)

Those fresh Dungeness crabs make me long for the old home town and the Oregon coast; so good right out of the cooker.

As usual, great pics! Although Duck was a bit blurred, something to do with his SPEED! My guess you wanted the sign in the background to be clear enough to read. This you may already know; If you want the opposite effect, track the bike with the camera and the background will blur and the Duck will appear "frozen". Conclusion; Frozen turkey you can easily find at Safeway, but frozen Duck is a rare bird.

Anyway, it must be nice to tour like you do!

Micki checking in-

Thank you for the CC, I'm not a professional photog, nor do I have aspirations to be one. Duck was going too fast to track- so I had to pre-focus before he got into the frame. If we had all day for him to ride that curve, I'm sure I could get a better shot Very Happy

Miki 3 things.

1. I heard they found a Bigfoot in Ga. It's time to blow the lid off this mystery once and for all and let the authorities know you spend "intimate times" with a Yeti. I am sure there is a book deal for you.

2. Make your own profile already woman! You log more miles on a K than 1/2 of our posters here.

3. Take the MSF course and git your own bike!

I guess somewhere along the line they couldn't make their mind up either, the fork lock on my 'R' locks right or left. I guess it just depends on which way you swing Wink .
