This red bike is the one I had back home in WI and was totalled by getting run over from behind with me ON IT!!! OUCH!
Front end smooshed bad.
Launched out from under me and into the PU truck in front of me, than slam banged on the left side. Better than me getting pinned under her I guess.
This is the 1993 K1100RS I am going to buy to replace it. I GOTTA HAVE ANOTHER K1100RS!!!!!
Another pic, nice bike, 25,000 miles, 2nd owner. Show quality. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

That destroyed red RS makes me a sad Panda.
However, other than the red seat, that black one looks Johnny-o sweet! Love the look of the windscreen.
Welcome to the site, glad to see you got the bug! _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Agree on the seat. Kind of funny, some like it, some don't. I'm thinking Seargent rebuild over next winter. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Actually, if you've ever put any real miles on a stock seat, your ass WILL look like that - or at least feel that way. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I don't totally hate it, but you should have distracted whomever long enough to steal the gray seat off the wrecked red bike.... _________________ Jim

All gone, insurance salvedge. The dealer would not give me the stock gray seat. But I did get the tool kit, the throttle meister bar ends, a set of jumper cables, and my license plate.
I could have made good $ off the bike by parting it, but I am using the money to buy another while I wait for the liability claim portion of the accident to be setteled. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Well, if that grey stock seat was anything like the stock RS black seat that I got rid of, your better off without it. Mine was hard as a rock. Not to mention that I couldn't stay put, or my girlfriend sliding into me at stops.
Find youself a good Corbin, or Russel or Meyer seat you'll be muck happier. I know I like my Corbin.

Ok, you all were right. I tired of the red seat rather quickly. It's not stock but a softer vinyl.
Hurt like hell after an hour, and after going over the bike a number of times, I now also hate it. It must die.
I ordered up a Corbin dual canyon sport in carbon fiber, asphalt trim panels, & dark gray piping, no seams.
Will post picture when I recieve it and install. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!
