Perforated stainless grills in the fairing lowers. Very Happy

Looks OK I guess. You know what might look tricker? The mesh from a stainless steel grease spatter screen. Like this:

No, it sucks. I need it an inch or more back and more "buckety."

I really hadn't ridden the LT that much since getting the RS. This ride has let me know what's wrong with the seat.

But for what paid I get free fixin' and satisfaction guaranteed. One of the main reasons I got it done locally.

Because of the shape of my stock seat, my knees constantly collide with the fairing.

A Corbin will fix that, or any other custom seat, but the Corbin is the cheapest fix.

I'll second that seat vote, I love my Corbin. Night and Day difference to the factory "comfort" seat.

Hey Johnny, have you still got the Russel?

Ride Safe.

The factory comfort seats for the early Ks were pretty decent - rider seat was shaped similar to Crbin Dual Tour.

Two of the things that I like about the Corbin are:

I can set back more so my knee's don't hit anymore,
I also set lower so I can flat foot when I'm stopped.

Ride Safe.

Scott.

God I WISH I could flat foot that bike. Are Germans all legs or something?

I doubt I could flat foot that bike with the seat removed. And I'm 5'11".

On a trip last summer I did well over 1000 miles in much less than 24 hrs on my stock seat and comfort wasn't an issue. Getting my knees caught "inside" occasionally is. Approx how much do Corbins go for?

I did 250+ miles on my Dual Canyon and let me tell you my ass was on fire. I could not do too many more miles without a different seat or perhaps a sheepskin to the Corbin.

Going to try a sheepskin, but I might go back to the stock seat, I did 300+ with the stock seat without a problem but had the same issue, my knees hit the fairing bad. No such problem with the Corbin because the bowl is deeper and cut further back then stock.
