Need to change my Caberg flip face helmet having dropped it - well it blew off the bike in the recent winds...
Want another flip face but with the best ventilation possible. Summer cooling and winter de-misting.
Not too bothered about the inner sun visor though a nice addition.
Any views / opinions? _________________ Cheers, Steve H _______________________________________

Steve,
I really like my C2 Schuberth. Excellent quality, inner tinted visor, vents better then any other Schuberth I have owned, not quite to my Arai but nice. The face shield doesn't fog on the inside, the liner comes out as does the chin wind-guard and the rear neck pad that gets hot in hot weather. Schuberth's importers for the U.S. have always sucked, however since your in the U.K. I would give them a try. _________________ Dom |

hirschhs,
I agree with Jim... I purchased a Scorpion EXO 700 from The Helmet Source (Dave), and have been very pleased with the helmet and the customer service is outstanding as well. Here is the review I used for my puschase http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/scorpion/ If you decide to go with The Helmet Source let me know we can work something out if they won't ship to you. _________________ 1993 K1100LT/On going project

I also have a C2 Schuberth which I like a lot. The articles that you read about it say that it is heavy but I don't think it is and I have a skinny neck. It also has great ventilation. I am folically challenged on top and I can feel the air going across the top of my head. I have a Concept also and liked that so much that's why I bought the C2. _________________ Rich

For ventilation, I wear an HJC CL-21. It's like wearing a baseball cap while riding.

Evertime I see an open-face helmet I think of how well my jaw bone would work to scrub speed in a lay down. It'd be like using my chin as a brake pad, with the road as a disc. _________________ tlp

I've had 3 get-offs. (1 minor, 1 medium and one serious) Fortunately, on the two more sreious ones, I was wearing an Arai fullface. I've never had my helmet hit the ground however - but it was still nice to know I had one on when I was going down. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
