Got to the IMS a couple weekends ago. Had the camera. Kinda' got into it.
I confess to being an admirer of thoughtful design. I especially appreciate form that expresses function without anything superfluous - and yet is elegantly beautiful. Like a fighter jet.
But the embellished stuff is OK, too. And if it is somewhat restrained, all the better.
Anyway, here's a series of design elements that caught my eye. Best part is, I've found a way to APPRECIATE without OWNING.
