After how many miles or time do you change plugs?

What else needs to be done when the plugs are done? Perhaps a throttle sync?

Yes, a TB synch is in order when plugs are done. Vavles too.

Stu,

Inspect the plugs when you have them out they should all be worn the same.
I like to inspect and spray the wires with a silicone spray and wipe off the excess.
I use a little Permatex anti sieze on the top 4 threads of the plugs as well.
Torque the new plugs to 20 ft/lbs. And tap down the plug caps.

It's a nice time to do the throttle body sync. Provided the air filter and all of the air lines are in good shape, otherwise your just masking a bigger problem. If yours are all original they probably need replacement, along with the small rubber air caps that you pull off for the throttle body sync. Unfortuately, that job is not a lot of fun.

Even though my bike runs strong, I just want to be on top of the next problem/issue.
I carry four extra plugs with me at all times.
