mine was a little sluggish too, cleaning and greasing the pivot bolt for the clutch lever did the trick. |

You might want to look at that 4 pin connector under the right rear corner of the fuel tank. It carries the power to the fuel pump as well as the float that feeds the gauge.

Where #1 is the seal but #2 is a shim that comes in 17 different diameters.

Worst case the nut is stuck and it unscrews the bolt into the head. Not a big deal.
You might want too consider putting in fresh header gaskets when you reinstall.

I would check the fairing mounting bracket closely. Those things crack if you look at them the wrong way. |
