Could somebody with a 1985 K100 take a picture of the seat mounting hardware for me please? The parts fiche is a tad confusing so a picture of the actual hinges would be helpful.

If you're talking about the black plastic piece that is turned by the prongs on the lock core it can't be purchased as a standalone part. You need to purfchase a complete assembly.

Its not a K1100 but i'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction!
My 1985 K100RS starts without using the fast idle lever but once up to temperature idles at 1500rpm.

The cause of my intermittent starting was a broken wire to the frontmost coil - it was hanging on by a thread ,possibly because the wires there dont have much slack.
