1 to 1.5mm sticks in my mind for the reveal. Make sure you keep it square. I used an old GM seal tool and cut it on a lathe to hold the reveal and squareness.

I use the little waterproof tube on my coat zipper pull. Have been thinking of changing to dog tags. I never wear a watch and hate things on my wrists so the bracelet idea is out for me.
