Thanks Guys. The water heat sensor was about 200 ohms off. New one in, and 400 miles of Colorado mountain riding today. Independence Pass to Aspen.

fuel filter is new, and the tank had been emptied.

Last month the problem was the bike would cut out...replaced the Hall Effect Sensor with new. Didn't fix the problem. Changed out the computer for another used one...it worked GREAT!!!!

It turned out it was the Motronic Unit.

Now to just put it back together, and try to get the rear disc off.

This is the second one of these I have lost. One on a bike with 123,000 miles, ( I was third owner, not sure it hadn't failed before)

The mechanic who did the work is a good guy, with 25 years of being a BMW mechanic. I took a separate clutch assembly I got off of here, and so he had it if he thought he needed it.
