My 1997 K1100LT fuel warning light is lit at ~160 miles. I get 40mpg. With a 5.8 gal tank it seems way too premature. Any adjustments available?

Appears so. Why? Is this a normal function? Gotta wipe their nose after every ride? Very Happy
