FLYBD5 ... you are absolutely correct about the heat issues with aircraft and they do apply this K11 design... you could ( in theory) double the surface area of the radiator and still over heat the un ...

what you need to look at is the LUMES or the output in candle power.
most LED's are rated in WATTS as in power consumed. NOT OUTPUT.
