It looks like I can just get a lock core and wiring pigtail. Cool.

Is the switch connected to the harness directly or is there a connector? I would like to replace the switch.

The crash pad was ripped off but non of those wires were tampered with. Only the wires from the ignition switch were crossed in an attempt to hot wire it.
