I'd neglected to check ALL the fuses after yesterdays fire and the top one had blown too.

So I got all the legal stuff working now so I can ride it naked :s ...

Are you sure the cig lighter was installed by a PO? Lots of the LTs came with them from the factory.

As said in the title, anyone know which wire behind the clocks affects the brake light?

There was a fire behind there yesterday which stripped a lot of wires of their plastic and snapped a few.

Right, I was doing the voltage readings wrong earlier..

Have just done it again.

At Idle, the voltage, across pins 1 and 4 of the TPS connector, is 1.07V at idle, and at full throttle 4.64V

Right, I just attempted the TPS test aswell and I didn't have the warning lamp come on at all.
You should also be able to watch the temperature warning lamp on the tachometer blink ON at idle and OFF ...
