Yes. "Clank" then it stops cranking engine over. It's a very metal sounding clank too.

Battery is fully charged.

ok, went to start the bike and fuel pump kicks on, then goes off. Hit the starter and it turns over for a second then i hear a loud CLANK. Bad Starter?

The power lead comes off a switch.

Positive lead comes from Battery to fuse then to the relay, then to the power lead. The switch is tied in with the power lead...I hope that makes sense. I have ...
