Which version did you get? The earlier one with the locking ring is more of a PITA to deal with but doesn't break like the later ones can.

If your bike has newer seat hinges then you'll need to replace them with the old style ones to work with a Corbin seat pan.

If I were going to strip a K I wouldn't bother having a temperature gauge. It serves no worthwhile purpose.

I've dealt with 40 or 50 odd Ks (some very abused and high mile) and never had an issue with seized plugs.

There are other bolts that have issues though:
- Alternator bolts
- Bellhousing bolts

What do you mean by shot? Down near the 4.5mm limit? How many miles?

Motobins is a good place to shop IMO.

I'm usually skeptical about 3rd party parts and lean towards OEM but I do trust Motobin ...
