I got fed up with the ABS and removed it years ago. Took off 20-25 lbs of hardware. Only remember buying a new rear brake line. |

Installed a different HES finally with good results. Bike started right up, idled and reved up nicely. Didn't do a test ride yet, still buttoning up bodywork, will finish up tomorrow.

Is that the GS-911 3-pin adapter? Nah, don't want to have to hookup the bike to a PC to read the codes. I think I can design myself an adapter that grounds any of the three pins.

I bought a set of Magnacore off eBay. The blue wires made the bike insignificantly faster!

Yeah I actually had the cap twisting a little and pulled straight out with pliers. Top must have broken off with that move. Probably wiggling it a little too much.
