Is it possible to pressure test the block??
Or simply pump water through it - opposite direction maybe?? -
to check blockage
or to flush it out??

No I just gave him hub.

Found the problem.
Pinched the cable with caliper bolt :- (

Had bearing replaced in final drive.
Speedo not working now.
Only just found out.
Haven't tried anything yet.

I'm very late to the party, probably solved by now.

If the fan is not coming on.......
I didn't read through all the posts.
I had the problem had most of stripping done and came
to socket on fan ...

Seems the bearing is shot.
Took it for a fast run to get it hot.
Checked the wheel and I could feel the rattle.

Had leak there and replaced seal.
Leaked again.
Just in case I got it wrong replaced the seal.

Leaking again.

I had to file the female end of UJ.
Don't know how they got damaged.
Popped in no problem.

How in heck do you get it back onto gearbox shaft.
Can't seem to get it on.[/u]

It is leaning a lot!!!
Does the bushing press in or is it just on the bolt.
Of I get a new bushing and bolt does that solve the
problem ??

I would think it's to centre the stress on the rubber bushing in the strut

Maybe this is a dumb comment, but I presume that you take off the filler cap first........

Now that it's all done.......
When I took it out on the road I thought that there was a bit more vibration than I remember but it seemed to settle down or I got used to it.

Well it's back in.
I managed to see position of uj at gearbox.
One spline out is quite a change in angle.

and, it's very difficult to see the orientation of the joint at the gearbox.
I am reluctant to pull the driveshaft in case I cannot get it back on the
gearbox spline. I think I mig be able to get ...
